Senex enables the security team to process visitors quickly, efficiently and cost-effectively on a secured property.
Many residences, resorts, condominiums, and country clubs lack a sophisticated visitor management system, primarily because they believe:
- The security service provides sufficient access control for the property.
- The security company is equipped to closely monitor and manage visitor access to the property.
However, most security companies still rely heavily on visitor data in paper logs to verify and document zone access.
These paper logs are often outdated or inaccurate because the security team or property manager needs time to communicate with each member of the community for visitor updates. Typically, this role falls to the property manager, who is already managing a full property management workload. Owners typically don’t have access to their own visitor information, so they can’t easily update the visitor list. More importantly, there is no effective way to track or report on historical access data because much of the data is stored in paper records, often unreadable.
SENEX uses a new generation of visitor management technology because it links owners directly with the security team through cloud-based mobile applications. This not only eliminates outdated paper check-ins, but also the need for expensive hardware, software, and printing that other visitor management systems require.
SENEX significantly improves overall security by providing the most accurate visitor information in a mobile format.
Most other systems are computer-based and require both residents and security officers to log into a computer to edit or view visitor data. These systems fail to be fully effective due to the slow processing time at the security entrance and the resident’s reluctance to log on to the computer. Residents keep calling the security office or property manager with visitor updates, thus losing control over their own data. Since SENEX is based on mobile smartphone technology, owners are quick to adopt the system and can access and manage their own guest list in real time from anywhere in the world, providing security personnel with the most up-to-date and accurate information available. .
SENEX offers:
- Precise visitor information, including data from previous visits.
- Professional visitor processing and reduced waiting times.
- High adoption and user engagement.
- Entry history data.
- No investment in additional hardware or software is required.
No. SENEX eliminates the need for excessive expenses related to hardware, software and printing. Visitor pass printing is an additional expense that may not provide additional security, as passes can often be passed to others who have not been properly identified by the security team. Printing badges with copies of a visitor’s ID helps alleviate this concern, but the hardware, ink, and paper are an unnecessary cost. By storing authorized visitor data in the SENEX security app, your security team can easily and securely verify the visitor’s identity just like with a printed day pass.
The easiest way to access visitor data is through the SENEX smartphone mobile app; however, visitor data can also be accessed through the web application for officers and administrators. Owners not using a smartphone or the web can call security or the property manager to update their visitor information. The mobile app also allows security officers to add or edit visitors if requested by owners.
Some owners want “advance warning” of an incoming guest. This is one of the benefits of SENEX arrival notifications, the system automatically sends a notice to the owner through the mobile application to alert that the visitor is entering the property. If a visitor is not on the owner’s visitor list, security must call for clearance.
For provider access, SENEX allows the security team to select multiple residences that the provider is visiting in the same time. SENEX will automatically notify all owners selected by security personnel.
Yes, because the security app is mobile, security personnel can verify a visitor’s identity without leaving their checkpoint or the side of the visitor’s vehicle. If pre-authorized, all visitor information required to grant access will be available on the SENEX mobile app and visitor processing can be completed within 30 seconds. This not only speeds up visitor processing, but also improves the professionalism of your security team.
Yes, the SENEX security app can be used throughout your property and works without an internet connection, it will automatically sync the latest information when you are within range of a Wi-Fi signal or mobile data. SENEX can be used to verify visitors anywhere on your property (swimming pools, parks, tennis courts, beaches, etc.).
Each visitor’s profile provides information about their status as a permanent or temporary visitor. If temporary, a date range of authorized visiting time is displayed.
The SENEX administrator of your community can run access history reports for specific days, providers, reasons for visits, vehicles, workstations and people. Historical tracking and reporting allows for better data security compared to traditional paper records, as data is not stored in paper format. All data is stored and can be accessed digitally.
SENEX data is stored on secure encrypted servers that use data server redundancy to prevent data loss. SENEX also uses encrypted data transfer protocols to ensure complete data security between the database and users.
Yes, we provide your security staff and property manager with the necessary training to use SENEX correctly.
